Tour Description

The Snæfellsnes peninsula is a microcosm of the island as it contains many wonders such as lava caves, lava fields, waterfalls, a glacier, captivating black sand beaches and many other places. We will drive around the legendary Snæfellsjokull glacier, stopping at Búðir Church for a picture, beautiful black beaches, Saxhóll crater and we might even stop for a chat and a cup of coffee with the locals at their home in Hellissandur the fishing village. On our way back to Reykjavik we stop near the world famous Mount Kirkjufell. This tour varies from 10-12 hours depending on itinerary. Our tours are customisable depending on your interests. The stops included on this tour includes: - Pick up at desired location within Reykjavik - Borganes pit stop (toilet and snack break) - Búðir, the Church - Arnarstapi / Hellnar lunch (optional walk from Arnarstapi to Hellnar, 30 min walk) - Black beach Djúpalónssandur - Saxhóll Crater - Hellissandur the old fishing village - Kirkjufell - Borganes pit stop (toilet and snack break) - Drop off at desired location within Reykjavik Optional stops: - Ytri Tunga (Seal beach)
